FLIGHTS

Yes, our standard seating is in economy class. If you’re interested in upgrading to business or first class, or securing an extra-legroom seat, we kindly ask that you wait until we provide your electronic airline ticket. Please note that since this is a group booking, we cannot guarantee specific seat preferences (aisle, middle, or window).
At Elevate Her Journeys, our group travel rule allows for one carry-on OR one checked luggage, plus one personal item. We encourage you to pack wisely, as this is group travel, and we need to ensure that all luggage can be accommodated both on the plane and on our group transportation.

You can expect to receive your electronic ticket from our team 15-21 days before your departure date.

If your flight is delayed or canceled by the airline and you miss the group flight, it is your responsibility to arrange alternative travel to meet the group at the destination. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any additional costs or disruptions caused by missed flights. Unfortunately, Elevate Her Journeys cannot cover the expenses associated with rebooking flights or any delays caused by the airline.

PASSPORT

For all international destinations, a U.S. passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates is required. Non-U.S. citizens should contact the consulate of the destination country to determine specific entry requirements. It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure they have all the necessary documentation for their trip. Additionally, minors traveling without both legal parents or guardians must carry a notarized letter of consent.
Yes, you can reserve your spot even if you don’t have your passport yet. However, you must have a valid passport before your travel date, as we will verify this information 60-90 days before departure. We recommend starting your passport application process as soon as you reserve your spot to avoid any delays.

PAYMENTS

We accept a variety of payment methods, including all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover), as well as PayPal. If you’d like to set up automatic payments, we can also accommodate that for your convenience.
Automatic billing allows clients to make monthly payments through an auto-draft system. This ensures that your payments are automatically deducted each month, making it easier to stay on track with your payment schedule.
No, we do not offer refunds or transfer reservations. Each client is required to accept our Terms and Conditions before their reservation is confirmed. To safeguard your investment, we strongly recommend that all clients purchase travel insurance.
Yes, you should make every effort to make a payment each month. If you find yourself unable to make a payment, please send us an email. If you fail to make a payment for 60 days without any communication to us, your reservations will automatically cancel.

If your roommate’s reservation is canceled, you will have the option to either sign up for our roommate matching program or pay the single supplement fee to secure your own room.

Elevate Her Journeys Services does not store your credit card information; this is handled by the travel supplier. However, for guests enrolled in automatic billing, we securely store your payment details for recurring payments.

TOURS

Get ready to pack your walking shoes and some snacks for the bus! We take pride in offering authentic experiences in the destinations you’ll visit. Most of our tours are half-day, but some may last the full day. We’ll always provide you with this information in advance so you can dress appropriately and prepare for the level of activity involved.

Yes. There will always be a set time for group tours, so please make sure that you are on time. We will always share with you the departure time for the following day the night before departure so that you know exactly how to prepare.

Once we share the times for breakfast and the morning departure time, we expect for you to hold yourself accountable to follow that schedule. If you are not outside and ready to depart on time, you will be responsible for finding transportation to meet the group. You will not be refunded for your transportation fee, so we highly recommend that you make sure you’re on time.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel insurance is a plan that protects you from financial risks and unexpected events during your travels. These can range from minor issues like delayed luggage to major situations such as a last-minute trip cancellation or a medical emergency abroad. It’s highly recommended to purchase travel insurance for every trip, as you never know what might happen when you’re away from home!
Travel insurance is not required for all trips, but it is highly recommended.

Travel insurance is important because it protects you from unexpected events that could disrupt your trip, such as flight cancellations, lost luggage, or medical emergencies. It can save you from significant financial losses and provide assistance when you’re in unfamiliar places. Having travel insurance ensures peace of mind, knowing you’re covered if something goes wrong while you’re away from home.

GROUP SYNERGY

We expect all travelers to be respectful and courteous to our group leaders and fellow travelers to ensure a positive experience for everyone. If you are rude or unpleasant, it may result in being removed from group activities, and in severe cases, we reserve the right to remove you from the trip entirely, without a refund. Elevate Her Journeys maintains a zero-tolerance policy for disruptive or disrespectful behavior to protect the well-being and enjoyment of the group.
